One can't plant a big tree. One can only plant a seed. The seed, if cared for properly, will grow into a big tree. If we want our lives to stand firm like big trees, rooted and grounded in the TRUTH, then we need to plant the appropriate seeds, and then carefully nourish them until they are fully grown.
 
However, there is an enemy who will deliberately plant other seed - weeds - to undermine the potential of the good seed. This kingdom of darkness is constantly in conflict with the kingdom of light, trying to dislodge the good influence of the kingdom of light in our lives.
 
We need to tend our garden with great care if we are to remain standing firm and strong, faithfully producing a good harvest for our King.
